Do you need to travel far? or Do you have things right on your door step?

Have you ever always wanted to go somewhere that is virtually on your doorstep?

Well I have and with more than one place! People always say you need to get out of the country that you’re living in and visit the world and see different cultures. WRONG...

(Side track-I do this a lot!)
I’ve always dreamed and thought about travelling the world, but wanted to have a friend that I got along with really well! I have had these opportunities, and travelled to many countries with different friends over the past year and a half. I think this summer, travelling was definitely the best so far, not only was the place and people fun, the journey to and fro was fantastic!

Travelling with friends is always fun and if you don’t think so, travel with Jordan Ralston or my twin Daniel Docherty! You will constantly laugh, the odd time cry, maybe even over chicken! (Long story-not going there!) And you will find a travelling buddy for life.

Okay, so going on holiday with Daniel this summer was amazing, we have this special relationship that I have with no one else! Even though we use to fight and kick the living daylights out of each other, the past two year we have really became like best friends! I always imagine having to move away to go to University or for a job or somewhat but then think how could I move away from my twin, I’ve been with him since God created me!

I know that one day in the future we will go on our own journeys with jobs, or school or even when we get married in like 10+ years time! But until then he will be my travel buddy!

Okay, also Jordan! We never really spoke until after the Scotland summer camp in 2010. I don’t know why but until we shared a room at summer camp and realised that we were so similar and had such a great laugh together we didn’t talk :( then we started to plan a holiday together for summer and really connected and had a load of fun when we were there and the lead up to it. I can now tell her everything which I can’t say for that many people. i.love.her.so.so.much!

(Back on track :D)
So I want to go and travel the world, but now I think about it I don’t want to travel the world just yet! I want to take the opportunity to learn more about Scotland, visit all of Scotland and the famous land marks.

I have so many beautiful and amazing things right on my door step, and I’ve never seen the half of it! So in a year and I half I will hopefully be able to drive, two years max!

If I know you, you should come and stay with me and we can travel around Scotland together! I am looking forward to the day I can say I know all about Scotland and when I can no longer count the places I''ve  in Scotland on two hands!

Where do you want to go in this beautiful world of ours??

So your too small to change the world? Think again!

Okay, so when we talk about making a difference, that though comes into our mind like we are too small, we have no power and who is going to listen to a teenager?

So, you should think again! How about all those people who died in the 9/11? I bet they didn't think they'd make a difference when they woke up that September morning 10 years ago! Well looking back i think they made a massive difference!
People will NEVER forget the people who lost their lives fighting for their country when the world shook ten years ago. We owe so much respect to those people - Fire Fighters, Soldiers, Men, Woman, Plane Passengers, Paramedics, Police men/women and so many more.

So you still think that you can't make a difference?
Well this time think about the unordinary, think about the impossible, think about how God can work through you to make a difference! Next time someone asks you if you could do something that you think is impossible think about it PRAY about it!

God is going to use His children in impossible and unordinary ways, even when the going gets tough try again, but try ten times harder! In the bible it says:

"Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him."
    James 1:12 ESV

God will place you in situations where you feel as if nothing can work out, in these times think about the impossible, trust in God, and try ten times harder!

God is going to use you people to build up an army to GLORIFY His name!
Seek Him always, and work each day to make His name famous, :)

    In God we trust!

p.s where were you that September morning 10 years ago?
I was sitting in my Primary 2 class about to go home for the day to find out how our world had changed!

    I'm new to this people!

Okay, so this is going to be the next big thing. And I dont know what I think about this but im gonna give it a go!

I HATE knowing that people are reading what I write but im going to get over this! So read away at all my random posts, if you don't like tell me and if you have any suggestions tell me too :)

    Thank-you! <3
